Hello All!

Some of you may have noticed that I have been using Google Classroom more! I will still post my assignments here, but please also look to google classroom as well. I would like for you to start turning your assignments into google classroom. You can e-mail them to me if you are having problems submitting. Those of you that have submitted assignments into google classroom, good job!

Below are the links and assignments for today. Remember that these are due Friday by 5pm.

6th grade

Assignment: Answer the questions on page 219 in your textbook. (Also, I will be giving some extra credit during Spring Break that deals with Newton's Laws of Motion, so be on the lookout for that!)

8th grade

Assignment: Answer these short answer questions in Google Classroom--> Does the Bible support Old-Earth Theory? Why or Why not? Do you agree with the Old-Earth Theory? Why or Why not?

7th grade

Assignment:  Product- From Farm to Fork!
  1. Choose ANY product (cheese, milk, apples, strawberries) (not watermelon that will be the example)
  2. Create a slideshow, poster,  whatever you want to present this- BE CREATIVE
  3. Include pictures during each stage
  4. Track the products path from production, processing, distribution and marketing
  5. Due Friday at 5pm!

High School Agriculture

Assignment: Choose one of the following:
  • Go outside. Find a place in your yard and take a sample of soil. Identify the layers of the horizon- you should be able to see O and A from a simple small dig into the ground. Take a picture with the areas labeled (use a piece of paper to label the parts) and submit in google classroom. 
  • Complete a Ribbon Test. I have full instructions of this posted in Google Classroom. If you need help doing this, email me or ask during the office hour.

A note on Google Classroom

I want to say great job on those that have already joined! I have sent invites to each student's Lee Christian email! If you have questions on how to get into your Lee Christian email, please let me know! 

I am hoping next week to be able to post our assignments, videos, etc in google classroom. I will continue to post in the blog as well but I want Google Classroom to be our classroom together.

Google Classroom

  • All middle school students now have a school e-mail!
  • I will show you during class
  • I am setting up google classrooms for all the classes and sending invites!
  • Be patient! This is where we will eventually have all assignments turned in and communicate! 

Assignments

  • All assignments are due at 5pm Friday
  • Don't wait until Thursday! Get them done that day so that you won't get overwhelmed
  • For now, email your assignments to d.ross@leechristianschool.org. Eventually, google classroom will be set up and you will submit it there.

Assignments will also be posted in here so that you can come back to it. 

Please remember to e-mail me your assignments. It is important to do your assignments that day so that on Friday when everything is due you aren't so overwhelmed.

Happy Friday!

Whew, we have finished week one of online school. I'm super proud of all of you. I have gotten some amazing responses to the assignments I posted!

Just a few things to remember for today :

  • If you haven't turned in your assignment, you have until midnight to do so
